CRM deals: the sales pipeline board
Create deals with amount, stage, win probability and product line items; drag them across the kanban board; record lost reasons; convert won deals into OMS sales orders.
A deal is one specific business you are negotiating — not the customer, but the deal itself: "they want 5,000 units of product X, worth $80,000, probably closing next month." Use this page for every negotiation in progress so the whole team sees the same pipeline.
Create a deal#
- Open the Deals page and click New; link it to the company and contact from CRM.
- Enter the amount and currency, the current stage, the win probability (how likely it closes, as a percent), and the expected close date.
- Add line items — "product lines": what the customer wants to buy, item by item (product, quantity, unit price). This is what the customer would actually order.
- Save. The deal appears on the board in its stage column.
Move deals on the kanban board#
The board has one column per stage (e.g. prospecting → proposal → negotiation → won/lost). Drag a deal card from one column to the next as the negotiation moves forward — every stage change is recorded in the deal history, so you can audit who moved what and when.
Won deals become OMS sales orders#
This is the handoff from selling to fulfillment: when a deal is won, one click converts it into an OMS sales order carrying over the line items. Sales is done; the warehouse takes it from there.
