Admin Billing: Subscription Invoices and Payments
See your current subscription at a glance, download past invoices as PDF, and manage text messages — the Credit wallet balance they draw from, the channel switch, send scenarios and send history — all on Admin → Billing.
Admin → Billing is the one page for money questions about your own Docklify subscription: what plan you are on, when the next charge falls, and where past invoices live. The lower half of the same page manages text messaging for when an app notification is not enough — every message is settled in Credit from your wallet, the same balance that covers AI usage and storage. Only Owner and Admin roles can open this page.
Step 1: Check your current subscription#
- Open Admin → Billing (/admin/billing). The Current subscription card sits at the top of the page.
- Read the card from left to right: plan, price, billing cycle, next charge date and status.
- If your plan is charged per seat, the card also shows the seat count.
- Plan shows the edition and the plan type together — this is the subscription your whole company shares.
- Next charge is the end date of the current period — the day the next payment is due.
- Status tells you whether the subscription is running normally — anything other than active is shown as a warning, so check this card first when something stops working.
- If the card says there is no active subscription, the invoice list below will be empty too — talk to the platform team before expecting charges or invoices.
This page is for viewing and downloading — it does not change your plan or your payment card. A note under the subscription card says it plainly: to change your payment method, please contact the platform. For how plans and suites are priced in general, see the suite pricing guide instead of this page.
Step 2: Review invoices and download the PDF#
- Scroll to the Invoices table under the subscription card on Admin → Billing.
- Find the invoice you need by its number and date, and check the amount and status on the same row.
- Click PDF in the Download column to open the invoice document in a new tab, then save or print it from there.
- Each row shows four things: invoice number, date, amount and status. A paid invoice is marked as normal; any other status is shown as a warning.
- If the Download column shows a dash for a row, there is no PDF document attached to that invoice yet — check back later or ask the platform team.
Step 3: SMS — the Credit balance and the SMS channel switch#
The SMS section sits below the invoices on the same Admin → Billing page. SMS here is a backup channel for notifications: the app notification is the default channel, and the SMS channel is off by default. Turning the switch on only allows text messages in the send scenarios you pick — it does not send anything by itself.
- Check Balance first: it is the Credit balance in your wallet. Each text message costs 4 Credit from that balance — the monthly allowance included in your plan is used first, then purchased Credit.
- Flip the SMS channel switch on if you want text messages to be allowed at all. The change saves right away.
- Pick the send scenario: Urgent only, or All fallback (when the app is not opened). The scenario picker stays disabled while the channel is off.
- Urgent only is the careful choice: normal notifications stay in the app and only urgent ones also go out as text messages.
- All fallback casts a wider net: when someone does not open the app, the notification also goes out as a text message — useful, but it uses the balance faster.
Step 4: Buy Credit and read the send history#
- In the Credit pack cards under the balance, pick the pack you want and tap "Request this pack". There are three packs: $10 for 1,000 Credit, $49 for 5,500 and $99 for 12,000.
- Online payment is not available yet, so nothing is charged and nothing is added at this step: your request lands in Your requests as "Pending activation", and our team will contact you to confirm payment and add the Credit. Once activated, the Credit shows in your wallet right away — and purchased Credit stays valid for 12 months.
- Scroll to Send history at the bottom of the section to check what actually went out.
- Each history row shows the recipient, the channel (SMS or App), the status, how much Credit it cost, and the time.
- A row marked Skipped did not send and tells you why in plain words — no provider set up, the recipient opted out, no balance left, or the SMS channel was off.
- Failed rows are different from skipped ones: a send was attempted and did not go through — check the balance and the channel switch, then look at the newest rows after the next notification goes out.
