Drayage P0: dual moves, street turns, and smart dispatch
What is new in Drayage P0: warning dashboard, dual-transaction and street-turn pairing, smart dispatch recommendations, accessorial quotes, driver settlements, and the driver mobile app.
P0 adds the two money-makers of drayage: scheduling smarts (dual transactions and street turns save trips) and time discipline (free-time / appointment / cut-off warnings stop demurrage bills). Everything below is live on desktop and the driver mobile app.
Warning dashboard#
- 🔴 Over free time: containers past their Last Free Day — demurrage is accruing daily.
- 🟡 Free time ends tomorrow: act today to avoid charges.
- 📅 Pending appointments: quoted/dispatched orders with no terminal appointment yet.
- ⏰ Cut-off countdown (exports): under 24h turns red — highest priority.
Dual transaction & street turn#
Dual transaction: one truck pulls an import box out of the terminal and takes an export box back in — one trip instead of two. Street turn: an empty returned by customer A is reused directly for customer B's export, skipping the depot. The system auto-detects pairs (same terminal, matching box type, overlapping time window, steamship line allows it) and shows them as "proposed" — one click to confirm.
Smart dispatch recommendations#
Click "Recommend" on an order: every available driver is scored on distance, equipment match, time window, price, history, plus live factors (real-time traffic, driver GPS, on-the-way bonus, TWIC validity, chassis size). Pick manually from the ranked list, or one-tap auto-dispatch to the top scorer.
Quotes with accessorials & driver settlements#
- Quotes now break out accessorials: chassis fee, congestion fee, pre-pull fee, detention, fuel surcharge, demurrage pass-through. Rate tables auto-fill by customer/lane/box type.
- Driver settlements: per-trip pay from the pay-rate table, dual-transaction ×1.5. Draft → confirmed → paid.
Driver mobile app#
- Today's tasks with dual/street-turn combo cards showing both legs step by step.
- Pickup/drop-off check-in: photo the container number — OCR compares it with the order and warns before you pull the wrong box.
- Voice announcements for navigation, next stop, free-time warnings, and cut-off alerts — hands-free.
- Works offline: check-ins and photos queue locally and sync when back online.
