Bind drivers to trucks: scan the body QR on the phone ("I drive this truck") or assign on desktop. The driver name links to the Master Data driver file in a new tab; the Reminder hub watches license expiries.

Fleet → Drivers. The list is simple on purpose: one row per truck, showing who drives it — or "Unassigned" if nobody does. Driver profiles live in Master Data (People), not in Fleet: Fleet only records the binding.

Two ways to bind#

On the phone: Fleet home → "Scan vehicle status" or "I drive this truck" — scan the body QR, done. Binding successful, and the truck shows up under "My vehicles".
On desktop: assign or change the driver on the vehicle file or the Drivers list.

Driver names jump to Master Data#

Tap a driver name in Fleet and the driver’s Master Data file opens in a new tab — license, documents, contact, everything. Rows from before this link existed show plain text instead (no broken links).

License expiries live in the Reminder hub alongside insurance and inspection dates — one place for every date that can ground a truck.
