Flow Templates: reusable blueprints

Last updated 2026-10-14

Templates are generic blueprints (placeholder nodes, not runnable). Clone one into a real flow, or save a working flow as a template.

A Flow Template is a generic blueprint: its nodes are placeholders, so it cannot run directly. A Flow is a concrete, runnable flow built from a template with a real Connection plugged in. Templates live under their own menu: Integration → Flow Templates.

Work with templates#

  • Create: start blank or from an existing template; name it and pick the scenario it covers.
  • Edit visually: drag-and-drop canvas with a collapsible, searchable left panel of node types.
  • Clone: one click copies a template into a new template you can modify without touching the original.
  • Save as template: turn a working flow into a template for reuse across merchants or scenarios.
  • Use: pick a template when creating a flow — 80% of the setup is pre-filled; then plug in your Connection and go.

Import / export flows#

  • Export: any flow can be exported to a JSON file (nodes, edges, branch conditions included).
  • Import: upload the JSON to restore the flow exactly — handy for moving flows between tenants or keeping a backup.
