Connect Target Plus: pull orders in, push fulfillment out
Copy the Partner API address, Client ID, and Client Secret from your Target+ onboarding email and Partner Portal, paste them into Integration, test, map, activate — orders flow in and fulfillment flows back.
The Target Plus connector pulls orders from Target Plus into OMS, and pushes fulfillment back to Target Plus. It can also push product and inventory updates out, so orders, shipping, and stock stay in sync on both sides.
Prerequisites#
- A Target Plus seller account with access to the Target Plus partner portal.
- Your Target+ onboarding email or Partner Portal access, so you can read the Partner API address for your account. The address is not the same for everyone — use the one given to you.
- An app in the Target+ Partner Portal, so you can copy its Client ID and Client Secret.
Get your credentials#
- Find the Partner API address in your Target+ onboarding email or in the Partner Portal. Copy it exactly as shown — this becomes the API base URL. Do not guess it and do not reuse an address from another account.
- In the Target+ Partner Portal, open your app and copy the Client ID.
- On the same page, copy the Client Secret. It is shown only once — save it somewhere safe right away, because you will need it in the next step and you cannot view it again on that page.
- Find your Supplier ID in the Target Plus partner portal and note it down. This field is optional, but if your account uses a Supplier ID, note the exact value so you can fill it in the same way in Integration.
Fill it into Integration#
- Open Integration → Connector Marketplace → Target Plus → New connection.
- API base URL: paste the Partner API address from your Target+ onboarding email or Partner Portal, exactly as shown, for example https://… . This field is required. It tells the connection where to reach Target Plus, so a wrong address means nothing can connect.
- Client ID: paste the Client ID you copied from Target+ Partner Portal → your app. This field is required.
- Client secret: paste the Client Secret you copied from the same page in the Target+ Partner Portal. This field is required. It is encrypted at rest and never echoed back.
- Supplier ID: fill in the Supplier ID from the Target Plus partner portal, if your account uses one. This field is optional — leave it empty only if your account does not use a Supplier ID. If you do fill it in, copy the value exactly, because a wrong ID points the connection at the wrong supplier.
Test the connection#
Click Test connection. The test uses the API base URL, Client ID, and Client Secret you filled in to reach Target Plus and check that the address and the credentials work together. A pass means Target Plus was reached at that address and the credentials were accepted. If it fails, note the error and check the FAQ below before changing anything else.
Mapping / pick a template#
Pick the Target Plus standard template. It maps order number, line SKUs, quantities, ship-to address, and fulfillment status between Target Plus and the standard order. Check the mapping preview before activating, especially that each Target Plus SKU is paired to the right OMS product.
Activate#
After activation, Integration pulls new Target Plus orders on the schedule you set, pushes fulfillment with tracking numbers back to Target Plus, and pushes product and inventory updates out. Watch the first few orders in Runs / Logs before trusting it unattended.
FAQ#
Test fails: Client ID or Client Secret is not accepted
The Client ID or Client Secret in the connection does not match the app in the Target+ Partner Portal — for example one of them was copied incompletely, the two values were pasted into the wrong fields, or the secret you saved is not the one for that app. Target Plus will not accept credentials it does not recognize, so the test stops there.
Go to Target+ Partner Portal → your app, copy the Client ID and the Client Secret again, and check them field by field as you paste: Client ID into Client ID, Client Secret into Client secret. Save and test again. Remember the Client Secret is shown only once on that page, so use the copy you saved when it was shown.
Test cannot reach Target Plus at all
The API base URL is wrong. The connection is trying to reach Target Plus at an address that is not your Partner API address — for example the address was typed by hand and has a typo, an incomplete copy was pasted, or an address from another account or another source was used. With the wrong address, the credentials are never even checked.
Go back to your Target+ onboarding email or the Partner Portal, copy the Partner API address again exactly as shown, and replace the API base URL in the connection with that copy — do not type it by hand. Save and test again.
Data goes to the wrong supplier, or nothing is tied to your account
The Supplier ID in the connection does not match the Supplier ID of your account in the Target Plus partner portal. The address and the credentials can be right and the test can pass, but with a wrong Supplier ID the orders and updates are tied to the wrong supplier, or to no supplier you recognize.
Check the Supplier ID in the Target Plus partner portal, copy that exact value into the Supplier ID field in the connection, and save. If your account does not use a Supplier ID at all, clear the field instead of leaving a wrong value in it. Then run a manual sync and check Runs / Logs.
Connected but no orders come in
The connection itself is fine — testing passes — but Target Plus has no new orders for your account yet, so there is nothing to pull.
Wait for the next order on Target Plus (or check in the Target Plus partner portal that a new order really exists for your account), then run a manual pull and check Runs / Logs. New orders appear once Target Plus has issued them.
