AI usage controls: per-app switches, usage and token packages

Last updated 2026-10-26

Turn AI features on or off per app, see which app burns the most tokens, and buy AI token add-on packages.

AI usage controls answer two questions: which apps are allowed to use AI features, and how many AI tokens each app has spent. A “token” is the unit AI bills in — roughly, the more text AI reads or writes, the more tokens it burns.

Per-app AI switches#

  1. Open Admin → AI usage.
  2. In the app settings section, flip the AI switch for each app.
  3. The change applies immediately: that app’s AI features (assistants, summaries, smart suggestions…) turn on or off at once.

Token usage by app#

The usage page breaks token spending down by app, so you can see at a glance which app is the heavy burner. If the number jumps suddenly, check that app’s AI switch and its recent AI activity first.

One more consumer worth knowing: in WMS, “Generate from sample” for label and packing-list templates lets AI read an uploaded sample image or scanned PDF and draft the template for you. Each analysis is metered in your organization’s AI usage, just like other AI features — the wizard shows how many tokens that analysis used.

AI token add-on packages#

Your monthly AI quota has two parts: a free allowance that comes with your plan, plus any add-on packages you buy. The usage page shows both parts and the combined total, so you always know how much is left.

AI tokens are sold separately from your plan, in add-on packages. When the dashboard’s AI token card shows the quota running low, buy a package before it hits zero so AI features keep working.

  • 1M tokens / $1 — for light, occasional use.
  • 10M tokens / $8 — a small team’s typical month.
  • 50M tokens / $30 — heavy daily AI use.
  • 200M tokens / $100 — high volume, best per-token price.
SMS, storage and voice minutes are separate add-on products with their own packages — topping up AI tokens does not refill SMS or storage.
