LabelFlow Accounts: Carrier Accounts
Keep every carrier account you ship with in one list: add an account, give it an alias, turn it on or off, and remove it when you stop using it.
LabelFlow prints shipping labels with your own carrier accounts. The Accounts page — LabelFlow → Accounts (/labelflow/accounts) — is the address book for those accounts: one row per account, showing its carrier, account number, an alias your team recognizes, its status and your notes. Keep this list tidy and everything that picks a carrier account later, such as importing a carrier invoice, stays simple.
Step 1: Add a carrier account#
- Go to LabelFlow → Accounts and click New account at the top right.
- Choose the carrier from the dropdown — UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL or Other — and type the account number. Both fields are required.
- Optionally add an alias — the name your team actually uses day to day, such as “Main UPS” — and any notes about the account.
- Click Save. The new account starts out Active and appears in the list right away.
The three cards above the table on LabelFlow → Accounts always count the list you are looking at: Total accounts, Active and Disabled. After adding or changing accounts, a quick glance at these cards confirms the list is in the shape you expect.
What the list shows#
- Carrier and Account number identify the account — together they are the account you ship or get billed on.
- Alias is your own short name for the account. Leave it empty and the list simply shows a dash.
- Status shows whether the account is Active or Disabled, as a colored pill.
- Notes are free text for your team — anything worth remembering about this account.
Step 2: Edit an account#
- Find the account in the list and click Edit in its Action column.
- Change the alias, the status or the notes, then click Save.
Turn an account off, or back on#
- Click Disable in the account’s Action column to turn it off; its status becomes Disabled and the counts on the cards above update.
- A disabled account stays in the list — nothing is deleted. Click Enable on the same row whenever you want it back.
- You can also flip the status inside the edit dialog, using its Status dropdown.
Delete an account#
Click Delete in the Action column and confirm the “Delete this account?” prompt — the row is removed from the list. There is no undo on this page, so when you are not sure yet, disable the account first and delete it later.
