Status flows for OMS sales orders, WMS inbound receipts, and WMS outbound shipments — what each status means.
OMS sales order#
- draft — order just created, editable.
- pending_review — (optional) awaiting human review.
- confirmed — (optional) review passed.
- allocated — inventory locked for this order.
- released — handed to the warehouse for execution.
- partial_fulfilled — partially shipped.
- fulfilled — fully shipped.
- delivered — customer signed for it.
- cancelled — terminal state.
WMS inbound receipt#
- draft — just created.
- planned — receiving task created, not started yet.
- receiving — counting and putaway in progress.
- received — counting finished.
- exception — receiving issue (short / damaged / wrong goods), on hold.
- closed — terminal state.
- cancelled — terminal state.
WMS outbound shipment#
- draft — just created.
- allocated — inventory locked.
- planned — pick task created, not started yet.
- picking — picking in progress.
- picked — picking confirmed.
- packing — packing in progress at the packing station.
- staged — FTL/LTL pallets dropped in staging, waiting for loading.
- fulfilled — handed to the carrier (goods left the warehouse).
- packed — all parcels weighed and labeled, waiting for carrier handover.
- partial_fulfilled — partially shipped (batch shipping).
- delivered — terminal state.
- closed — EDI/partner synced, terminal state.
- exception — terminal state.
- cancelled — terminal state.
