Reports: run a report, export it, subscribe to it
Reports is the one place for the standard reports — inventory, inbound, outbound and billing. Pick a report, set the dates, run it, download the CSV, or subscribe so it lands in your inbox on a schedule.
Open Reports from the app home page (app.docklify.com → Reports). The left side lists every published report by area — Inventory, Inbound, Outbound, Billing and more — with a short line on what each one counts and how fresh its data is. Reports marked "opens in its original page" jump to the screen where they have always lived; everything else runs right here.
When a report has its own help page, its card shows a small question-mark icon — click it to open the guide for that exact report in a new tab. Reports without the icon do not have a dedicated guide yet. The chips next to the search box filter the list by area (Inventory, Outbound, Operations and more): pick one to narrow the list, pick the same chip again to go back to all. The KPI library (Reports → KPIs) uses the same question-mark icon on the KPIs that have a guide.
Run a report#
Click a report, set the date range (and a warehouse or client if the report asks for one), then Run. Small reports come back in a second or two. A big one switches to a background run: the page shows it is working and fills in the numbers when ready — you do not need to keep the tab open and re-click. Every number is computed inside your own organization, and client-portal users only ever see their own goods.
Some reports read a daily summary instead of live data (for example stock snapshots and storage charges). Their results carry a small "data as of" note. When you run the same report twice with the same settings, the second run may be served from a short-lived cache — the numbers are identical, it just comes back faster. The WMS inventory screen embeds the stock report (INV-01) with the same engine, so the number you see there always matches Reports.
Ask the AI assistant to find a report#
You do not have to know a report's name. Open the AI assistant (AI Rollie) and describe what you want in your own words — "which stock has not moved for months", "reconcile our freight bills", "what is our return rate". It matches your words against the same report list you see here, runs the report inside your organization (you can give it dates, a warehouse or a client), and answers with the numbers plus the report's own counting note. If no report matches, it says so plainly and offers the closest one instead of guessing — for example, there is no driver-hours report; the labor reports count warehouse staff, and the assistant will tell you that. Reports that live on their original page come back as a link to that page.
Names and statuses in plain words#
Every value in a result is something you can read: the Client column shows the client name, Warehouse the warehouse name, SKU / Item the SKU code (with the product name added when there is one), and Status a plain status such as "Available" or "Shipped" — never an internal code or a long ID string. The same goes for the CSV you download and for subscription emails. If a name genuinely cannot be found — an operator account that no longer exists, for example — the cell shows a short placeholder like "(unknown user)" and the note under the result tells you how many cells are affected. If you see that often, send us a screenshot and we will fill the gap.
Export to CSV#
After a run, Export downloads a CSV that opens cleanly in Excel (headers are the plain English column names). If the result is very large, the export may be capped — the file name and response say so plainly (a "--partial" file), so you never mistake a partial download for the full picture. Narrow the date range and export again for the rest.
Subscribe on a schedule#
On any report, choose Subscribe, name it, pick who receives it, set the schedule with a cron expression (for example "0 8 * * 1" is every Monday at 08:00), and save. Your filter settings are saved with the subscription, so the mail always shows the same cut of the numbers. Note: scheduled email delivery is being switched on in stages — your subscription is saved right away and will start sending as soon as delivery opens for your organization. You can cancel a subscription at any time from the same place; a cancelled subscription simply stops.
Reports features used in this article: the report list and runner, asking the AI assistant to find and run a report in your own words, embedded reports on business screens (same numbers), CSV export with plain partial-file marking, and scheduled subscriptions with saved filters, and human-readable names and statuses in every result column.
New in this release: operations, counts, returns and more#
Reports now also covers the day-to-day floor work: picking accuracy and task completion under Operations, units per hour and team performance under Labor, cycle count progress, variance and inventory accuracy under Counts, open returns and return outcomes under Returns, rate shopping savings and freight audit under Shipping & Carrier, location utilization and empty locations under Space, lot and serial traceability under Compliance, plus a seller set (profit, product, inventory, freight, returns, purchase) for Orderball stores. Every report explains its own counting rules in the note under the results — for example, the seller profit report shows gross sales until refund netting lands, and says so in plain words.
