Register Your Carrier Company

Dernière mise à jour 2026-10-31

Your company may already have a listing in the Yardor directory. Claim it with a quick code check — or register a new profile if there is none.

Yardor’s carrier directory includes carriers from public registrations, so your company may be listed before you ever sign up. Start by looking for that listing: claiming an existing one is faster than starting from scratch, and it keeps one single record for your company instead of two.

Step 1: Check whether your company is already listed#

  1. Enter your USDOT number or MC number in the carrier directory search and run the search.
  2. If a listing comes up, open it and check the company name and details carefully — a matching number is the surest sign it is yours.
  3. If it is yours, tap Claim this listing and continue with the verification below. If nothing comes up, skip ahead to registering a new profile.

Step 2: Verify the claim with a code#

  1. Yardor sends a 6-digit code to the email address shown on the listing.
  2. Enter the code on the claim page to finish.

As soon as the code checks out, your company is marked as verified and you become its carrier admin — the person who manages the company on Yardor.

If the listing has already been claimed by someone else, your claim is not simply turned down: it becomes an Appeal and goes to the Yardor team to decide. Have material ready that shows the company belongs to you, so the team can settle it quickly.

No listing? Register a new profile#

  1. Open Register a new profile and enter your Legal company name exactly as it appears in your official registration, together with your USDOT and MC numbers. Add your DBA name if you have one — it is optional.
  2. Add a public email and phone number, and your headquarters address — street, city, state, ZIP and country. A website can go on the profile too.
  3. Choose your Equipment types (for example, dry-van or reefer) and the Service regions you cover. You can also add your SCAC — optional — and a short introduction to your company.
  4. Submit. Your profile is created from what you entered, and you manage it as carrier admin from there.

Track your claims under “My claims”#

Every claim you start is listed under “My claims” on the claims page, with its current status:

  • Waiting for code — enter the 6-digit code sent to the listing’s email to finish.
  • In manual review — the Yardor team is checking it and will follow up by email; the current listing does not change meanwhile.
  • Approved — the company is verified and you are its carrier admin.
  • Rejected — the claim did not pass. Check the details you submitted for mistakes; if the listing really is your company and someone else holds it, use the Appeal route described above instead.

Duplicate listings — and what you can do next#

If you spot a second listing that also looks like your company, do not register around it: submit a Merge request from the listing and the Yardor team will combine the duplicate records for you.

  • Find warehouses in the directory and book dock appointments with them.
  • Manage your company team and your driver pool.
  • See your company scorecard. The booking and scorecard articles in this Help Center walk through those topics — this article stops at getting your company set up.
