Managing Your Carriers on Yardor
Add carriers from the directory, approve applications, group carriers, and block a carrier when you have to.
The “My carriers” page in your warehouse console lists every carrier connected with your warehouse, their relationship status, and your carrier groups. Carriers get connected in several ways: they book an appointment with you, they apply to work with you, they accept your invitation — or you add them yourself from the directory, which this article covers first.
Add a carrier from the directory#
- Open “My carriers” in your warehouse console and tap “Add a carrier”.
- Search the directory by company name, USDOT number, or MC number. A USDOT or MC number finds the exact company fastest.
- Check the match — name, carrier number, USDOT / MC — then tap “Add”.
- The carrier is in your list right away, marked active. From there you can add them to a carrier group, reserve dock capacity for them, and book appointments on their behalf.
If the search result already shows a status (for example “Application pending” or “Active”), that carrier is already connected with your warehouse — tap “View in list” instead of adding again. A carrier you previously blocked cannot be re-added here; unblock them from the list first if you want to work with them again.
Can’t find the carrier?#
A carrier appears in the directory once it has registered on Yardor or been imported from FMCSA records. If your carrier is not there yet, invite them to join Yardor — once they accept your invitation, they appear in your list automatically, already active.
Applications, groups, and blocking#
- When a carrier applies to work with you, the relationship shows as “Application pending” — tap “Approve” in the list to activate it.
- Carrier groups let you treat several carriers as one — groups are what capacity reservations point at when you reserve dock time for a set of carriers.
- Blocking stops a carrier from making new bookings with you; their history stays visible. A reason is required, and your team can see it later. Unblocking restores the relationship to active.
