An OMS order is stuck and not moving forward

Last updated 2026-10-13

Check the order status, holds, inventory allocation, and task exceptions.

Orders usually get stuck for a reason the system is already telling you: a hold, missing inventory allocation, or a failed warehouse task. Open the order detail page and read the status and timeline first.

  1. Check the order status: a hold (credit, address, fraud review) must be released before the order can proceed.
  2. Check inventory allocation: if stock is short, the order waits for replenishment or a partial release decision.
  3. Check the linked warehouse tasks for exceptions (red entries in the task timeline) and resolve or reassign them.
Still stuck? Report the issue from the app’s More menu with the order number — support can see exactly which step blocked it.
